Arrowheads for Awa
ENDANGERED PEOPLE
“If you destroy the forest, you destroy us too” – Blade Awá.
I have made these arrows which contain political narratives aimed to raise awareness of The Awa Tribe in the Amazon Rainforest and the dangers they face as illegal loggers and farmers invade their home.   It is common to consider the tragedy of endangered animals or extinct species, but now we need to consider the extinction of people as well.

These arrows are to be worn as a weapon of communication: They act as both a conversation starter and a cause for thought.  The roots of public opinion will make it harder for governments and companies to allow the destruction of tribal people.

Spread the word.
